76. Emmy Mükafatları Los Angeles’taki Peacock Tiyatrosu’nda gerçekleşen görkemli bir merasimle sahiplerini buldu. ABD dizi sanayisinin en itibarlı ödüllerinden olan Emmy’ler bu yıl da büyük ilgi gördü. Gecenin sunuculuğunu, Schitt’s Creek dizisindeki rolleriyle tanınan baba-oğul Eugene ve Dan Levy üstlendi.
EMMY ÖDÜLLÜ BİRİNCİ JAPON AKTÖR
Törene, Japon dizisi Shogun damga vurdu. Dizi, toplamda 18 mükafatla Emmy tarihinde bir rekora imza attı. En Güzel Drama Dizisi mükafatını kazanan Shogun, tıpkı vakitte En Âlâ Erkek Oyuncu mükafatını alan Hiroyuki Sanada ve En Düzgün Bayan Oyuncu mükafatına layık görülen Anna Sawai ile dikkat çekti. En Düzgün Drama mükafatı birinci kere İngilizce olmayan bir yabancı imale verildi. Sanada, bu mükafatla Emmy kazanan birinci Japon aktör unvanını elde etti. Böylece, Shogun drama kolunda 4 ödül kazanmış oldu.
Komedi kolunda ise Hacks, En Güzel Güldürü Dizisi mükafatını alırken, The Bear da birebir kategoride 10 mükafatla gecede değerli bir yer edindi. Küçük dizi kategorisinde ise mahkemelik olan Baby Reindeer, 4 ödül aldı.
